Members Only Patriot League Match


When:
Competitors will shoot once a month for three consecutive months:

Competitors must shoot in at least two of the three matches to qualify for scores and awards, and drawings. If a competitor shoots all three matches, CGC will take the two best scores of the three for the final results.

Time: There will be three different time slots to shoot the course of fire:

  • 5PM-6PM
  • 6PM-7PM
  • 7PM-8PM

A safety briefing will be conducted at the top of the hour in each time slot. If you are not here for the safety briefing for a particular time slot you will be required to wait for the next time slot.
Cost:
Monthly per division(s)

  • $10 per month for one division.
  • $15 per month for two divisions.
  • $20 per month for all three divisions.
  • $25 per month for all four divisions.

Course of fire: Will be posted prior to the first match.

Competitors are allowed to shoot one firearm per division.

Four handgun divisions:
Semi-automatic, 1911 Single Stack, Revolver, & BUG
Firearms allowed and round count for the match:
Start position:
Firearm loaded and “high ready” position (elbows touching ribcage) all loading devices on shooting bench.
Semi-automatic pistols: 50 rounds total. 5 magazines loaded with 10 rounds each for 5 strings of fire. Iron sights only.
1911 Single Stack semi-automatic pistols:
40 rounds total. 5 magazines loaded with 8 rounds each for 5 strings of fire. Iron sights only.
Revolver: 30 rounds total. Revolver loaded with 6 rounds for 5 strings of fire. Iron sights only.
BUG: 25 rounds total Sub-compact models with a barrel length shorter than 3.42” (Glock 26 & 27 meet the requirement). This also includes 5 shot snub-nose (2”) revolvers. 5 rounds per magazine or cylinder for 5 strings of fire.
Caliber Restrictions:
Minimum
caliber allowed for semi-automatic pistols: 9 mm
Minimum caliber allowed for single stack semi-automatic pistols:  40 S&W, & 45 ACP (Note: 8 round magazines or higher capacity only)
Calibers allowed for revolvers: 9 mm, 38 SPL, 45 ACP, or .357 MAG.
6 or 8 shot revolvers only. NO 5 shot revolvers.
Minimum caliber allowed for BUG division: .380 ACP


Firearm restrictions:

  • No 44 mag, 460 mag, or 500 mag allowed.
  • No lasers, optics, compensators, suppressors, mounted flashlights.


Target used for the match:
NRA D-1 (Tombstone)

Scoring:

“X” Ring = 10 Points

“10” Ring = 10 Points

“8” Ring = 8 Points

“5” Points, any other bullet hit on target

There is no penalty for misses or unfired shots. All shots fired, must be fired “freestyle” and unsupported. If a shot cuts the line, the competitor will be given the higher score value. In the event the competitors have the exact same score, the “X’s” will be counted to determine the winner.

Four divisions will be recognized:

  1. Semi-Auto
  2. Single Stack
  3. Revolver
  4. BUG


CGC will use the Lewis Prize allocation system (For all adult divisions):

  • A: Rank all final standings in order from highest to lowest score.
  • B: Divide the number of final participants by 3. This will give you A, B, & C Classes.
  • 1st place plaques will be awarded for each class in each division. CGC will hold random drawings for prizes. Each participant is allowed to win one prize in the drawing if their name is picked.


Other Awards:

  1. High Lady in all four divisions (minimum of 5 ladies per division for a plaque to be awarded)
  2. High Senior in all four divisions (minimum of 5 seniors per division for a plaque to be awarded)
  3. High Junior
  4. High Young-gun
